The key to this system is its portability. The MikroCAD Portable retains all of the features of the original MikroCAD, but in a mobile lightweight package. The MikroCAD Portable is a hand-held 3D measuring device designed for three-dimensional inspection and metrology of surface profile and roughness. The system is designed to be portable between lines in a large scale production environment. The 3D profile is acquired in a quick 68ms snapshot and is immediately rendered in 3D and available for on a laptop computer. The fast recording speed coupled with robust measuring modes produces reliable measurements impervious to movements from the operator.
