PRIMOS body
Optical 3D Scanner for the in vivo measurements of faces or body parts
PRIMOS body is an optical 3D measuring device that allows the 3D measurement of human body parts or the face that includes a high resolution colour texture of the measured areas. The measuring field of 300 x 200 mm has an accuracy of 50 µm. This is well suited for use with cosmetic and medical applications such as dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine and orthopaedics as well as biometry. The evaluation software generates polygon meshes of the scanned surface which are used for a 3D comparison between treatments to quantify the difference before and after the procedure. The 3D data of faces may also be used for rapid production of precise face masks in medicine (apnoea) or industry.
